The ISG company was founded in 1987. Since then, ISG was able to present path-breaking developments concerning control technology in cooperation with a large number of various partners. The key to this success was the complete functional integration of Robot Control (RC), Numeric Control (NC) and Motion Control (MC) into a single control software. This approach together with its manufacturer-independent openness makes ISG the ideal partner for many well-known CNC solutions such as fast milling, turning and packaging machining and 5-axes wood working. In addition, the ISG software is used to provide high-dynamic control of kinematics, safety for the staff of textile machining, multi-axle grinding, control of transfer machines, process-based machining and control of robotic systems. ISG's integrated software library of complex motion-functions allows to program user applications via function blocks in a unified way by using single-axis functions along with other NC and RC functions - thus removing the burden of programming complex multi-dimensional functions from the application engineer.
