Following the meetings of developers and users of real-time Linux in Vienna, Orlando, Milano and Boston, the Real-Time Linux Workshop 2003 will be held in Valencia (DISCA, Universidad Politecnica de Valencia). The compilation of paper abstracts and the Work in Progress Reports contain presentations on the following topics:
- modifications and variants of the GNU/Linux operating system,
- contributions and tools around and to real-time Linux variants,
- real-time Linux applications, in academia, research and industry,
- tools for embedding Linux or real-time Linux,
- embedded real-time Linux applications,
- work in progress reports,
- educational material on realtime linux.
A keynote address will be given by Andrea Cuomo, Corporate Vice President and General Manager, Advanced System Technology, STMicroelectronics, on The fundamental role of open systems in future applications.
Kickstart sessions are offered in parallel to all paper presentations.
