OSADL Academic Membership Program launched
OSADL is now open for academic institutions - and welcomes its first academic member, the Lanzhou University at Lanzhou, P.R. China.
In addition to regular members of the cooperative, OSADL now also invites academic institutions to become an OSADL member. The purpose of such academic membership is for cooperation in the development of Open Source Software for machine and plant construction in the automation industry. The academic member is not required to acquire business assets or pay annual fees.
Application forms of the academic OSADL membership are available in English and German language. Academic members are listed in a separate member section of the OSADL Internet site.
OSADL is glad to announce the Lanzhou University at Lanzhou, P.R. China, School of Information Science and Engineering, Distributed & Embedded System Lab, being OSADL's #1 academic member. Welcome at OSADL! We are looking forward to a fruitful collaboration which has already been established when a common abstract for the Real-Time Linux Workshop 2007 was composed some weeks ago.
