INNOVATIVE CONNECTIONS: WAGO
The WAGO Kontakttechnik GmbH & Co. KG, founded 1951 in Minden, Germany, employs about 4600 people world-wide.
The CAGE CLAMP® connection technique, invented and developed by WAGO, has been an industrial standard for years now. This spring clamp technology gives fast, vibration-proof and maintenance-free electrical connections.
In response to the increase of decentralised automation, WAGO came up with the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 in 1995. Based on fieldbus independent bus modules, it allows the design of tailor-made fieldbus nodes, which can be adapted to all the relevant fieldbus systems simply by using the appropriate fieldbus coupler/controller.
