Event

Title: SIL2LinuxMP Kick-off Meeting
Date: 24.07.
Start time: 14:00
End time: 17:00
Description:

[Please note that this event is restricted to OSADL members]

This meeting is intended to kick off OSADL's first community-based GNU/Linux safety certification project.

As announced during the OSADL General Assembly in June 2012, the OSADL Safety Critical Linux Working Group has proposed to launch a large-scale project dubbed SIL2LinuxMP to develop a Certification Data Package (CDP) for a restricted GNU/Linux system based on the OSADL latest-stable Preempt-RT kernel. In order to develop a suitable CDP that can effectively benefit platform certification efforts, such a project needs to be under assessment by an industry accepted certification authority. From preliminary contacts, TueV Rheinland would be willing to support such a project.
