The OSADL Quick Linux Compliance Check

Solution of the questions

The OSADL Quick Linux Compliance Check contains a total of four questions with respect to important license obligations that must be fulfilled when copying and distributing the Linux kernel that is licensed under the GPL-2.0. The questions along with their expected answers are summarized in the below table. Please note that there are additional license obligations.

Do you provide copyright notices and license texts of the Linux kernel along with your product?

Do you submit a warranty disclaimer with your product to protect the previous Linux developers from claims for damages as requested?

Do you provide the complete corresponding source code of your Linux kernel on a medium customarily used for software interchange i) always along with your product when it is delivered or ii) according to a written offer provided together with your product to do so up to three years after the date of distribution?

Are your customers allowed to replace the original Linux kernel of your product by their own one and do you provide all information that may be needed to do so?
