Czech Technical University, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department of Control Engineering, Prague, Czech Republic

The Department of Control Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University has a long-time experience with real-time and industrial control. A group of experts is specialized in control theory; other groups are focusing on fieldbus technologies, communications, scheduling and control systems hardware design.

The scope of operating systems ranges from RTEMS, VxWorks, Linux and other RTOSes. Linux is running on a wide variety of processor architectures such as x86, ARM, PowerPC (MPC5200, MPC8240, ...) and, lately, SH7660.

We have experience with motion and robotic controllers and also with CANopen.

Last not least, the department is a founding member of the Czech Profibus consortium.
