CANbus telegram latencies simulation analysis

Peter Fodrek and Juraj Mózes, Slovak University of Technology, Institute of Control and Industrial Informatics

This paper is about CAN bus model of latencies. CAN bus is used in cars where Realtime Linux clones coming as main or only Operating system in control machines.  In mainline kernel there is CAN bus subsysytem made by VW. These latencies could be much longer than operating system latency. The paper will analyze these latencies in high load for periodic telgram sending.
