    Thermal compensation of machine tool centres and coordinate measuring machines, Geometric calibration and software error correction.
  • Noise and vibration engineering

    Measurement and analysis techniques, Vibro-acoustic modelling, Active noise and vibration control.
  • Life cycle engineering

    Product lifetime prolongationthrough reuse and recycling, Total Cost of Ownership, Knowledge Management, Manufacturability analysis and design optimisation, Development of Pro-active Eco-design Methodologies, Product-Oriented Environmental Management Systems for Industrial Sectors, Life cycle engineering applications.
