By: Carsten Emde

... and other news from RTLWS11

OSADL's Real Time Linux Foundation Working Group is glad to announce details of the Eleventh Real Time Linux Workshop (RTLWS11) in Dresden on September 28 to 30, 2009. The Workshop, for the first time in Germany, focuses on the various aspects of real-time Linux in different formats:

  • Presentations ("Free Paper Sessions") of submitted papers that have been accepted by the RTLWS11 Program Committee
  • Invited lectures ("Community Developers Track") of well-known and internationally recognized Linux real-time experts and kernel developers
  • "Hands-On Sessions" on real-time Linux systems
  • "Plenary Panel Discussion" on the potential of bringing academia and community together to improve Linux kernel development
  • Xenomai User Meeting 2009
"Free Paper Sessions"

The agenda (Monday, September 28 and Wednesday, September 30, 2009) and abstracts of all accepted papers are now online. Many international real-time experts have submitted abstracts and will come to Dresden.

"Community Developers Track"

The "Community Developers Track" is scheduled on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. We gratefully acknowledge the participation of many famous Linux kernel and most Linux real-time developers - it is almost certain that no question with respect to Linux real-time will remain unanswered!

"Hands-on Sessions"

In parallel to the Free Paper Sessions on Monday and Wednesday, hands-on sessions will be organized where experts of the various real-time systems are available to provide assistance for installing and using them.

Xenomai User Meeting 2009

The Xenomai User Meeting 2009 (XUM-2009) takes place under the umbrella of the Eleventh Real Time Linux Workshop and is organized by OSADL Founding Member DENX Software Engineering in close collaboration with OSADL. XUM-2009 will be held outside and in addition to the RTLWS11 scientific program.
