OSADL Networking Day 2026
The OSADL Networking Day 2026 – the traditional OSADL Members' event – will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 in Heidelberg, Germany. The main topic of this year's Networking Day will be "Spotlighting regulatory and functional requirements on FOSS".
Registration
- To register for the Networking Day, please complete the below form - fields in bold are required.
- In the afternoon of the Networking Day there will be two rounds of breakout sessions with three parallel presentations each. Please select one presentation for each breakout session that you would like to attend. The selection is not binding, but will help us to organize the sessions:
- Breakout session 1:
- CRA and Vulnerability Handling: Vulnerability management in the Open Source community in light of the CRA, Mikael Barbero, Eclipse Foundation
- Zephyr: Workshop: How to get started with Zephyr, Jan Altenberg, OSADL and Andreas Klinger, IT-Klinger
- FOSS Compliance Toolchain: LAIer: An automated compliance toolchain featuring ScanCode, OSSelot and AI support, Daniel Bettenworth and Jens Dünnermann, Miele
- Breakout session 2:
- CRA and Vulnerability Handling: Vulnerability management: how do do it in 2026 and beyond?, Marta Rybczynska, Ygreky
- Zephyr: Inter process communication between Linux and Zephyr, Andreas Klinger, IT-Klinger and Jan Altenberg, OSADL
- FOSS Compliance Toolchain: Opportunities and challenges of using the compliance and security overlap, Matthias Ruf, SICK
- Following the conference session, we cordially invite you to an escape room game - "Hacker Attack". After that, you are welcome to enjoy a relaxed barbecue dinner at the gardens of the Youth Hostel. If you are not able to attend the evening program, please kindly deselect the related check boxes.

- Please note that the OSADL Networking Day is an internal OSADL event, but we also have reserved some seats for guests. The total number of participants is limited to 100. We ask for your understanding that we will handle the registrations on a "first come - first served" basis.

You may revoke this agreement at any time by email, mail or phone using the communication data provided at the imprint page, but this will also cancel your registration.
Conference language
The conference language of the 2026 OSADL Networking Day is English. All presentation material will be in English, too.
Evening event
After a full day of insightful sessions and technical deep dives, the evening program offers a change of pace with an entertaining escape room experience "Hacker Attack". All participants will face challenges and solves riddles together to find the culprits. Once the "crisis" has been resolved, we warmly invite you to a relaxed barbecue dinner with plenty of networking opportunities in a casual atmosphere over food and drinks.

Venue:
DJH Youth Hostel, same venue as the conference.
Return transport:
Public bus lines 31 and 20 can be taken from the stop “Jugendherberge” outside the venue.
Line 31: Direction “HD Hauptbahnhof" passes Heidelberg Main Station; Direction "S-Bf.Altstadt" passes Bismarckplatz (city center). It runs every 10 minutes before 9pm and every 30 minutes after 9 pm.
Line 20: Direction “S-Bahnhof Altstadt.” passes Heidelberg Main Station. It runs every 20 minutes; the last bus departs at 9:08 pm.
