Equipment
Participants will use their own x86-based notebook computer that is able to boot from an external storage medium connected via USB. The computer should have a total of at least two USB slots - but three would be better. In addition, an RJ45-based Ethernet network interface is required. Internet access via WLAN will be available (but is not needed to follow the hands-on sessions). An ARM-based embedded system prepared to run Linux will be handed over to every participant and is included in the workshop participation fee. This embedded system along with the tool chain running on the participants' notebooks will create the development system for the practical exercises. Any software installed on the original storage media of the notebook will not be touched and, thus, remain complete and intact.
Fee
Day #1 and day #2 (max. 18 participants)
- Early bird: 960 euros (if booked prior to September 30, 2015)
- Regular fee: 1,200 euros
- OSADL members: 560 euros
- Special conditions for students upon request
The prices include German VAT (19%). In addition, lunch meal and beverages are covered.
