The OSADL FOSS Legal Knowledge Database is extended by a new chapter dedicated exclusively to the CRA. Here, questions of general interest are answered and practical recommendations on fulfilling CRA obligations are given. Here are a few examples that are available publicly:
- What is a "product with digital elements" in the scope of the CRA?
- Does the CRA only apply to devices connected to the Internet?
- In the case of custom programming, does it make a difference in the context of the CRA whether the software is handed over directly to the customer or contributed to an Open Source project?

Work in progress: CRA Policy Template
OSADL is creating a a policy template to help companies organize appropriate processes for CRA compliance within a company. This template is currently a work in progress.
Training and information events
OSADL organizes events to share information on CRA application and to provide training on particular aspects of CRA compliance. All presentations and recordings are made available to OSADL members. In addition, OSADL engages with the Open Source community to maintain usability of essential components.
